The symptoms of a sinus infection are sometimes indistinguishable from a common cold, seasonal allergies, environmental allergies, or even COVID-19! If your symptoms do not go away within a few days then call our office to schedule a visit. Dr. Brill will go over your symptoms and perform an examination to determine the cause and help you find relief from your symptoms. A CT-scan may be ordered if a sinus condition is suspected. Over-the-counter medication or an antibiotic may be needed for relief. Chronic or Recurrent Sinus infections, or infections that do not respond to medication may need a surgical procedure to clear away the infection and reduce the recurrence.
